Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wed., Dec. 15, 1999, at Murray Funeral Home, Humansville. Burial will be 2:30 p.m. Wed. in the National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kan. Visitation will be today from 7 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to Citizens Memorial Hospice, 1500 North Oakland, Bolivar, MO 65613. Bob was born Dec. 14, 1930, in Webb City, MO. After a 21-year career in the U.S. Navy, he settled in the Kansas City, MO., area where he was an electrician for the Santa Fe Railroad before retiring to Humansville. His wife, Mary Louise, preceded him in death in 1985. Survivors include his children, Rob & Jackie Grissom, Kansas City, Mo., Alan & Cinde Grissom, Hot Springs, Ark., Todd & Karen Grissom, Blue Springs, Mo., Gail & Andy Manning, Hot Springs, Ark., & Dawn Alleman, Springfield, Mo.; his grandchildren, Paul, Chris, Tiffany, Amanda, Grant, Shiloh, Shaleen, Austin, Aaron, Scott, Greg, Samantha, Angela & Rebekah; his great-grandchildren, Kelcei, Trae, Keylei & Izabel; his three brothers, Gary Grissom, Webb City, Mo.; Dee & Gerald Grissom, both of Oronogo, Mo.; his sister, Violet Kay Thurman, Carterville, Mo., and their families. |
