1. PERSONNEL INSPECTION TOMORROW. At 0845 tomorrow morning, quarters will be held with officer's call following at 0850. At 0900 all divisions will be in ranks at parade rest awaiting the arrival of the Commanding Officer, escorted by the Chief-Master-at-Arms. The uniform for personnel inspection will be the clean uniform of the day. Dog tags will be worn. Personnel not in possession of their dog tags had better be on the HMC\rquote S list for tender or else be out of uniform for the inspection. Each front rank will be required to take one pace forward, about-face and then the entire division/department will uncover by the numbers.
2. FREE MAIL TO CANADA. The free letter mail privilege for personnel in Vietnam/Market Time has been extended to include mail to Canada as well.
3. CRASH HELMETS. COMFOURTEEN has prescribed requirements and specifications for protective helmets and directs the wearing of such helmets by operators and passengers of motorcycles and similar vehicles within the FOURTEENTH Naval District. A list of manufacturers and identification of the helmets that meet the proper specifications is held by ENS BLACK. Those helmets will have to bear a decal designating approval of the helmet by COMFOURTEEN. If you own a motorcycle or similar vehicl e be sure that you see MR. BLACK and find out what type, design, and color of helmet is authorized by COMFOURTEEN and procure one.
