Comments= Had some good times and friends aboard the USS Vance, brings back lots
of memories. I also have a picture of Richard Westersund, Richard Rose and myself
in a rotating restaurant on the beach on July 4th, 1964. 07/28/2007 e-mail -- Hi Joe, This is David Jackson entry # 94/6 ?. Not sure. When I went aboard the Vance Richard Rose (RR)was a 3rd class and when he left he was a 1st class. I took a vacation with this guy. He lived in Calif at the time. I think he went to Roto Spain, made Chief. I heard something about a motor cycle accident. I would think that if Rose was still around he would be logged in. Any help from anyone would be great.
