Reasons for reading about the Vance: My family history
Comments: My father was the skipper of the USS Wilhoite from roughly 1959 - late '61 or early '62.
I am looking for anyone that might have a comment on him as captain or anything specific they might remember from that time.
I am trying to build my geneology and want something about my Dad.
(I was USAF and served from 1969 - 1976)
