Reasons for reading about the Vance= For a Friend who served in Vance, My
family history, Other
Comments= MY father-in-law (Dexter Bumpas - died December 2002) was a
crewman aboard Vance during WWII. We became closer in his later years and
he shared with me some of the experiences he had and the things he saw
aboard the Vance. I am sorry that he did not get to see this excellent
website ..... Thank you
