Reasons for reading about the Vance= Other
Comments= My ship, APD-123 was built as a DE and then modified to a high speed transport. We carried a UDT group and also Marine Recon personnel. This was a fighting ship and fairly fast. I was in Viet-Nam and am getting 20% disability due to Agent Orange related diabetes. My claim took 2 1/2 years to be settled, so DO NOT give up.
