the USS Vance which was an 'Operation Deepfreeze' picket ship in the years 60-61
based in Dunedin New Zealand.
The crew members name was Daniel B Sparks and an engineer I think ????? I last heard from Mr Sparks from Vietnam in the early 70's. His address then was Fresno California.
