| Comments : I served on two DEW picket deployments & I was never sicker or colder in my life. Being the new guy I got all the mid watches it seemed. Anyone who stood watch on a picket ship in the Aleutians never forgets the ice-cold-or size of the waves. But I wouldnt have missed it for anything. |
