Comments : Servered on USS Durant DER389 1960 -1962 and was tranfered to Vance 1962 till discharge Dec.7,1962.

Joe and George, The USS DURANT was being deployed to New Zealand and I was due to get out in Oct. 1962 so was transfer to USS VANCE and was extended with the Cuban Crisis until it was over in Dec. 62. I was assigned to the Durant in Dec.10, 1960
