Reason for reading about the Vance : Looking for people I served with

Comments :   Vance was our sister ship -tied up abreast at Pearl for 4 yrs. 1957-1961. Lot of patrols. Vance got tore up 1959 N. Pac (DEW) Patrol. I have stories of that hurricane-cyclone. AND of 30 patrols (16.) Newell was just behind her. HOW GREAT to find this site. Carry On!
